Guy R. Brock, Sole Proprietor
Guy was born in Takoma Park and raised in the College Park/Hyattsville Maryland area. After completing high school at Northwestern Senior High, Guy achieved is accounting degree in 1982 while working in the mortgage servicing industry. After college graduation, Guy continued his mortgage servicing career and worked for the following organizations; Dominion Bankshares Mortgage, Maryland National Mortgage, Bank of Baltimore and Charter One Bank.
In 1998 Guy decided after many bank mergers a career change was needed and secured a leadership position with the largest non-profit counseling organization in the nation. Guy's leadership led to the spin-off of the mortgage counseling unit into a new non-profit counseling organization - Cogent Financial Solutions. From 2002 to 2010 Guy directed the activities at Cogent using Quickbooks until the Maryland office closed.
Guy has lived in Westminster Maryland with his wife Liz, and two children, Michael and Lauren for more than fifteen years. Guy enjoys his '33 Ford "Vicky", tailgating and Redskins Football, BBQing with family and friends.
